Bio: Once known on the MADJIC circuit as ‘The Crab’ due to possession of a game that simply failed to move forward, Chris proved his doubters wrong with a remarkable victory in Dorset.

Since then, his game and his rhetoric have reverted to type, from loud disillusionment to loud enlightenment, all within the space of the same round. His game has turned so many corners you would need a sat nav to keep track, if it weren’t for the bewildering fact that it always ends up at the same point. Average.

Fond of dismissing his chances prior to the competition and fond of complaining about his sore arm and handicap, he will win or lose this year based upon his ability to negotiate as many shots as he can on the Thursday night.
