Venue-Master, Tony Chenery pulled one out the bag after considerable debate and last minute grumblings

What was to be Hampshire is now Dorset again and the cardinal rule of ‘never go back’ has been broken. Again.

Broadstone Golf Club

What They Say:
Set in the glorious Dorset countryside, Broadstone is one of the finest examples of an unspoilt heathland golf course in the South of England, and deservedly sits in the Top 100 golf courses in the UK, as judged by Golf World and Golf Monthly. Within 250 acres of rolling terrain, the fairways run freely and separately through superb natural heathland with its swathes of heather, pine, gorse and rhododendrons, several holes offer magnificent views for miles around.

No stranger to MADJIC, we look forward to returning

Saturday June 9th – 2.30pm

Knighton Heath Golf Club

What They Say:
You will need to plot your way around the course which is heavily tree-lined with some narrow fairways. The greens are in superb condition and the course presents an excellent test of golf for players of all standards.

Looks like it will be short, awkward and average

Sunday June 10th – 11.30am

Isle of Purbeck Golf Club

What They Say:
An exciting test for even the most accomplished golfer. The Club dates back to 1892 and among the past owners who were responsible for the extension to 27 holes were Enid Blyton, the legendary writer of children’s books and her husband Dr Darrell-Waters. The courses are built on heathland and are set within a nature reserve where many rare plants can be seen as well as rare birds.

Another course dear to MADJIC’s heart and we relish the chance to return

Monday June 11th – 12pm

Remedy Oak Golf Club

What They Say:
Remedy Oak is set amongst 256 acres of ancient woodland in Horton, Dorset. Meandering through a backdrop of hardwood trees, mature conifers, rhododendrons, heather, wild grasses and with water coming into play on eight holes, the course abounds with the natural beauty of its surroundings.

Constructed in 2006 and already rated in the top 3 golf courses in the South of England, Remedy Oak provides one of the most private, peaceful and personal golf experiences on the South Coast

Peter Alliss rates it as one of the best constructed courses in the South of England. Very excited
